Discover the world around you. One adventure at a time.

The grounds of Genesee Country Village & Museum encompass hundreds of acres of woodlands, meadows, old fields, geologic formations, ponds and streams. With five miles of themed nature trails and 175 acres of wildlife habitat, the grounds are open year-round for visitors to explore natural history and the area’s flora and fauna. Check out a Digital Map of the nature trails!

The Nautre Center Building and Trails are closed for independent hikes until January 5, 2020.

Nature Sunday Experiences

We are excited to offer weekly sledding on the hill in the great meadow, free snowshoe rentals, an independent StoryWalk, and more exciting family friendly programs in 2020! You can even bring your own cross country skis or walk streets of the historic village to see the houses decorated with a layer of freshly fallen snow.
